These are a selection form the Portrait shoot on location at the Castle ruins in Dudley, West Midlands.
During the session we had an ‘audience’ of young boys keen to find out which magazine or website was i creating these images for?
After the novelty wore off they quickly disappeared so as to allow us to focus our energies on creating the images we envisaged.

Mayfield School held their prom night on Saturday 11 July at the Trinity Suite located within Aston Villa Football Club.
The night was also an opportunity for retired staff, some now retiring & students who previously attended the school alike to meet up again with currents student & their parents in such comfortable surroundings.
Evening wear was the order of the day, so guests were ready to have their portrait taken. The online gallery of portraits reflects the diversity of cultures at the school.
Those that had their portraits taken were very pleased with the results. Nevertheless some of the more mature subjects thought Courtney Evans Photographer ‘could work miracles’

The 18th latin festival took place outside the Council House in Victoria Square, Birmingham city Centre on Sunday 5th july 09.
The festival included live bands and dance shows of various latin forms. The square was full of the regular salsa dancers as well as those who just like to watch.
I managed to capture some of the dancers and drummers in photo & video clips that performed amongst the crowd rather than the stage.
